v1.0.732026-09-12) — versionCode 73
Email verification on sign-up (closing the gap).
- Accounts created with email+password must confirm the address before entering the app.
- The navigation gate (
RequireAuth) routes an unverified account to the verification screen; Google and phone skip it. - After clicking the link in the email, the user taps "Check again" →
reload() → enters the app. - 10 new
emailVerify.* strings added in 6 languages.
v1.0.482026-09-08) — versionCode 49
PRO status is now derived, not stored permanently.
- An account is PRO only when one of two conditions holds: an active ad-removal purchase (
noAdsUntil in the future) OR wallet balance > 0. - When
noAdsUntil expires with an empty wallet the account falls back to Free (e.g. billUser sets plan to 'free' once credits hit 0). The stored plan field is informational only. - The "dokładny" (HY-MT) engine is unlocked for every PRO status — including an empty-wallet PRO (ad-removal only). Free accounts keep it disabled.
- Applies to web (
isProAccess) and Android (UserProfile.isPro).
v1.0.40v1.0.46 (2026-09-06 → 2026-09-08) — versionCode 41–47
Grouped entries reconstructed from the repository history (per-version detail
for the Android app lives in /android/changelog.html).
- "What's new" page in 6 languages —
/changelog.html and /android/changelog.html generated from CHANGELOG.md (Polish is canonical) + links on the landing page. Removed the GitHub Releases link (private repo). - App Links:
assetlinks.json with autoVerify for mini.verbigem.com. - Versioning consistent with the site: version and APK URL kept in
vite.config.ts, the landing page reads /updates/version.json; both "Download app" and /download/android point at the current file. The APK is copied into dist/android/ on every build. - Online translation: the selected model (DeepSeek / Gemini / Claude) is forwarded to OpenRouter, per-model pricing billed from the real
usage.cost +10% margin — no hardcoded prices. Also available with your own OpenRouter key (free models). - Paddle payments:
createCheckout Cloud Function for wallet top-ups; PADDLE_ENV switch (sandbox / production). Functions moved to the us-central1 region (matching the project) — this fixed failing paid translations and top-ups. - Legal pages: Terms / Refunds / Contact + footer links and cache headers.
- Sign-in: instant redirect to
/app after Google sign-in, splash until the first auth callback, working version check in redirect sessions. - BottomNav: 5 icons with correct paths (
/app prefix).
v1.0.472026-09-08) — versionCode 48
Paddle payments live in production + PRO account after a "Remove ads" purchase.
- "Remove ads" is a one-time prepaid purchase, not a subscription. Four tiers: $1 · 1 mo, $3 · 3 mo, $5 · 5 mo, $10 · 10 mo. You pay once, nothing renews by itself.
- After the purchase the account switches to PRO 💎 — the
transaction.completed webhook now also sets plan: 'pro' (before it only set noAdsUntil, so some Pro features on the web still saw the account as Free). - The account status card always shows the wallet balance (also 0.00 when it was never topped up — removing ads does not add credits) plus a countdown to when ads come back.
- Live Paddle prices are wired into
src/billing/paddleConfig.ts and functions/index.js; checkout runs on the mini.verbigem.com domain.
v1.0.392026-09-05) — versionCode 40
First official version tag of the Mini Verbigem repository — the clean translator of the Verbigem ecosystem (mini.verbigem.com).
What's new
- Two translation modes
- Local mode (Conversation): two people, one device, back-and-forth translation in both directions + auto-TTS.
- Remote mode (Chat): user search, invitations, real-time 1:1 chats (Firestore
onSnapshot), translation before sending.
- Local engines (offline, on your device)
- Fast: Qwen3-0.6B q4; accurate: HY-MT1.5-1.8B q4 (WebGPU → WASM fallback).
- Model download gate — fetched exactly once, no model names in the UI.
- Pro layer
- Engine switch: fast / accurate / both / online API (DeepSeek).
OnlineEngine via a server-side Cloud Function proxy — the API key stays off the client, token counter, 10% margin.- OCR: Tesseract.js (Free) + DeepSeek Vision (Pro).
- Paddle MoR payments from day one: $1/month banner (no ads) + prepaid API wallet ($3/$5/$10); webhook fulfillment works end to end.
- Account: email/password + Google (Firebase Auth), profile (nickname, avatar, languages,
free/pro plan, wallet). - Landing page with AuthModal, Features / Pricing / Download sections and a dynamic APK URL read from
/android/version.json. - i18n pl + en (the other 4 languages fall back to EN); versioning + kill-SW — forced reload when an older version is detected.
- Workflow rule: after every larger code change — update the README and
git push.
